BY TAXI

Salt Lake City International Airport offers ground transportation options for all types of passengers. Traditional ground transportation, limousines, hotel shuttles, and transportation network companies (TNCs) service the airport.

Salt Lake City has maximum rates for ground transportation providers servicing City-bound customers. The fare limits apply to transportation from the airport to destinations within Salt Lake City boundaries and are determined by two geographical zones:

Zone 1: Salt Lake City west of and including 500 East

1-2 passengers: $25 maximum

Zone 2: Salt Lake City east of 500 East

1-2 passengers: $30 maximum

Each additional passenger: $5 maximum

Ground transportation fares from the airport to destinations outside Salt Lake City boundaries remain unregulated. Transportation network companies, such as Uber and Lyft, are regulated by Utah State law and are not subject to the maximum fare requirement.
